An expansive map also means more potential areas for enemies to be lurking. You’ll need to strategize on missions and work toward objectives together, as venturing out on your own could be detrimental. 

Many games that support cross-platform play also allow you to carry your progress over to other versions as long as you link your accounts on different platforms together, but this isn't one of them. Sadly, Helldivers 2 does not support cross-save or cross-progression right now.

Per a PlayStation blog post Arrowhead Game Studios released with the trailer, players will be able to team up with Helldivers 2 Gameplay up to three friends to "explore unique planets and complete objectives together, and upgrade your equipment through the deep progression system of Helldivers 2."
